Aastha Horizons Giving CircleGrants between $1,000–$5,000

“Aastha” is a word in the Indian language meaning belief, faith, trust, hope for a better tomorrow. Like the sunrise over the horizon which symbolizes hope and a new day, the Aastha Horizons Fund creates significant impact and addresses community needs while providing Asian-Indian American community members a channel for collective philanthropy.
Established by a group of local Asian-Indian professionals, the fund reflects their care for Lancaster County and commitment to supporting it for the long-term. The fund launched with support from this group of founding advisors and invites contributions that will support urgent community issues as well as build resources that will continue into the future.

Reparations Action Fund for TomorrowGrants between $1,000–$5,000

Local faith communities established the Lancaster County Reparations Action Fund in 2023 to address systemic inequities experienced by African Americans, arising from generations of racial injustice in our community. The Lancaster PA Reparations Action Fund for Tomorrow envisions a community where the contributions and sacrifices of African ancestors are acknowledged and celebrated. The initiative aims to drive transformative restorative justice initiatives in Lancaster, PA, that address historical inequities and support the empowerment of Black communities. Financial investments, community education, and collaborative partnerships, will be utilized to uplift voices, restore dignity, and create pathways to economic and social well-being. We are dedicated to fostering a community where the legacy of our ancestors inspires action, accountability, and lasting change.
